Spring Faculty Program
Immerse yourself in the social, political and historical realities of Cuba with our AUSM academics-only programs. The program will connect you to professors, activists, community leaders and Cuban families. The University of Pedagogical Sciences hosts the program in Havana and will facilitate academic interactions throughout the island. Experience Cuba’s ongoing socialist revolution through a constructive critical lens with us.
Week 1 | Havana & Surroundings
March 12th – 19th
Program includes travel to Havana, Viñales and Matanzas, visits to community projects, tobacco and agricultural farms, and historical sites, and meetings with academics, community members and activists.
Program cost: $2,100 includes 3 meals a day, housing and all program transportation.
Week 2 | Cienfuegos & Surroundings
March 20th – 27th
Program includes travel to Cienfuegos, Trinidad and Bay of Pigs, visits to historical sites, community centers, and art and cultural spaces, and meetings with academics, activists and community members.
Program cost: $2,100 includes 3 meals a day, housing and all program transportation.
